Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use this website and buy from us. We have written them in plain language. Please read them before you order. They work together with our Delivery, Returns and refunds, Gift Club terms and Privacy policy pages.

2. Our gift sets

We sell gift sets for baby showers, kitchen teas, bridal parties, house warmings and big birthdays. Each gift set page lists what is inside.

Our gift sets are made to order. We source the items and put your set together after you order. Photos are for illustration, so small differences in colour or design can occur.

If an item in your set becomes unavailable, we may replace it with a similar item of equal or better value. If you would rather not have the replacement, you can cancel that order and we will refund you in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in South African rand. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Delivery is a flat rate of R120 anywhere in South Africa, and is free on orders over R1,500. The total you pay, including delivery, is shown before you pay.

Your payment is handled securely by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.

4. Placing an order

Before you pay, you can review your order, change quantities and correct mistakes. When you pay, we email you to confirm we have received your order. Your order is accepted when we confirm it by email.

If we cannot supply your order, we will tell you promptly and refund any payment in full. You must be 18 or older to buy from us.

5. Delivery

We deliver anywhere in South Africa, by courier, and nowhere else at this time. Because our gift sets are made to order, please allow 10 to 15 business days from payment, depending on stock availability. We email you tracking details when your order ships. Our delivery page has the full details.

6. Cancelling, returns and refunds

You can cancel your order and return the goods within 7 days of receiving them. If goods are faulty, unsafe or not as described, you have 6 months from delivery to choose a repair, a replacement or a refund. Our returns and refunds page explains how this works. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

7. Gift wrapping and messages

Gift wrapping is an optional extra, and its price is shown before you pay. Please check any message you write, because we include it exactly as you give it. We may refuse a message that is offensive or unlawful, and if we do, we will tell you and refund any wrapping charge.

8. Custom designs and personalised items

Some items can be customised or personalised for you, for example with a name, a message, a colour or a special design. Because a custom design is made just for you, from the details you give us, it cannot be returned or refunded if you change your mind or are not happy with the design you chose, and any extra amount you pay for the customisation is not refundable either. Please check every detail carefully before you pay. We show you this message in your cart, and before you add a custom item to it.

This does not take away your legal rights. If a customised item is faulty, unsafe or not as described, or if we make a mistake (for example, we do not follow your instructions, or we spell a name differently from the way you gave it to us), tell us and we will repair it, replace it or refund you.

9. Discounts and promotions

Discount codes, including the Gift Club welcome code, follow the rules on our Gift Club terms page. A discount code cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. This website

The text, design and images on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking us first.

11. Your personal information

We handle your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

12. Complaints

If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will try to fix it. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.

13. General

South African law applies to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on the website when you order applies to that order. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
